NMDC is a government-approved women's degree college located in Nabinagar Upazila of Brahmanbaria district. It is affiliated with the Comilla Education Board for HSC level and with the National University of Bangladesh for degree and honours programmes.

The college offers programmes in the Science, Humanities, and Business Studies groups at the HSC level, and Degree (Pass) and Honours programmes in selected subjects at the degree level. The institution is managed by a Governing Body comprising elected members, academic representatives, and the Principal as member-secretary.
